In the face of increasing stress, polarity and disparity, how can we possibly live the values we care about with both skill and grace? It can challenging to speak our truths sometimes without disagreement or judgment from others. We may choose to remain silent or steer from controversial issues.
In this virtual Introduction to Compassionate Listening, you will begin to explore the Five Core Practices and learn the skills necessary to bring these powerful practices into your daily life:
•Developing the Fair Witness
•Respecting Self and Others
•Listening with the Heart
•Speaking from the Heart
Here is a chance to enjoy deep social connection while developing skills and cultivating resilience and compassion. We especially need these skills and the circle of brave fellow learners to gather in a supportive space in these challenging times.
Please encourage friends, family or colleagues to also join these sessions so they too can learn to be a peace and bridge builder.
Cost: We offer a pay what you can afford structure. The standard course fee is $100. Participants can pay anywhere from $75 up to $125 for those who can afford the cost, which supports the ongoing offering for all to participate.
To register or to arrange a scholarship, please contact Amalia at firstname.lastname@example.org
We don't want anyone who earnestly wants to attend to miss out because of finances.
