If we know how to create the energy of love, understanding,
compassion, and beauty, then we can contribute a lot to the world.
~Thich Nhat Hanh
We are living through tumultuous times. Fear, uncertainty, and reactivity can
easily become the norm. It’s never been more important to slow down to the
speed of wisdom, to find our breath, and to practice stillness and presence.
This course will explore the alchemy of the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh and
the core practices of Compassionate Listening to bring more love,
understanding, compassion, and beauty to our lives and our communities.
With six sessions of content that includes experiential and exploratory
exercises, you’ll deepen your Compassionate Listening practice with the
support of Thich Nhat Hanh as our spiritual ancestor.
This experiential workshop focuses on the core practices developed by The
Compassionate Listening Project:
• Cultivating Compassion
• Developing the Fair Witness
• Respect for Self and Others
• Listening with the Heart
• Speaking from the Heart
This workshop is open to anyone, no matter if you’ve had prior
Compassionate Listening experience. Beginner students of Compassionate
Listening will find a powerful foundation to build their practice. Students
familiar with Compassionate Listening will find new pathways to deepen their
practice and embodied understanding
