Practice Session: Compassionate Listening in Polarized Times

With violence increasing, many are feeling sad, scared, and horrified at the lack of vibrant, respectful, even illuminating political discourse that gets to the heart of our issues. As we see it, in this heated election season, we need skills, stamina and practice to foster healthy engagement.

In this 90-minute practice session, CL in Polarized Times participants will apply newly learned core practices to these challenging issues: cultivating compassion for self and others; developing the fair witness; respecting self and others; listening and speaking from the heart.

Cost

Tickets for this event are $25, $35, or $50. We offer a pay-what-you-can-afford structure, based on what you can afford and the perceived value of this practice to you.
