Grief Tending: A Compassionate Listening Integration Workshop

Facilitated by Maureen St. Clair

Three Tuesdays, October 6, 13, & 20, 2026

3:30-5:30 PDT | 6:30-8:30 EDT

A workshop for those wanting to tend personal and collective grief through embodied compassionate listening, a pathway to reclaiming grief as our human birthright and to deepening what is ours to do in this excruciating and exquisite world, in service of the liberation of All.

This workshop is grounded in:

  • Compassionate Listening- We will explore and deepen our skills, tools and practices in the art of listening; listening to ourselves (bodies, minds, hearts) and to one another. Compassionate listening will be our gateway to building safe and brave enough spaces to explore personal and collective grief as well as explore personal and social change through unearthing vision and purpose.

  • Tending Grief- We will deepen our understanding of grief while reclaiming our right to grieve personally and collectively; whether grieving for climate related disasters, genocides, war, and/or struggles within our own communities, families, friends, and within ourselves. We will deepen our capacity to share our collective sorrows as a means of moving, supporting, resisting, and finding joy in these uncertain times. We will find our togetherness in the dark and light.

Cost:

$195- Standard Ticket (This ticket covers your participation in the workshop and helps sustain our programs.)

$225 - Community Builder Ticket (This ticket includes your participation while also contributing to our scholarship fund and the growth of Compassionate Listening.)

The cost for this workshop series is tiered according to a pay-as-you-are-able structure. This enables us to offer workshops in a financially sustainable way while creating accessibility for those without financial means to attend, as well as opportunities for generosity for those who would like to support others' attendance.

We are committed to accessibility and sincerely wish for all who wish to attend our workshops to be able to do so, regardless of financial means.
